Qatar Airways Closed ?


It looks that Qatar Airways is closed for business.

I did not read anything in the newspapers, they continue to advertise in CNN, their famous Zero Star Service, but if you try to contact some one that should care for customers they are not! For sure it is my fault because for sure there is no Department in Qatar Airways that care for customers.

It was only a dream I had last night that there would be someone to pick-up the telephone.

And believe me it is not only me trying to find where is that famous "Customer Care Department".

We understand the current world economic crisis. Maybe they were swept away in it.

Lets wait. Normally the life of people is longer than companies that live on cosmetic and artificial engagements.

you're not the only one with this problem. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I wanted to speak to the manager and they said the manager is "not accepting any calls" I can name many airlines with better customer service and plane that is at par to Qatar's.

Qatar Airways service is disappointing ... Calls to their customer service number in Canada today resulted in nothing .. No one to speak to. An urgent turn of events forced me to change plans and to need to cancel a reservation. I was told, cancel at your own risk. You will lose the entire cost of the ticket. This message was conveyed by Travelocity quoting the airline. The Qatar Airways office in Paris picked up the phone, but said they cannot help me. I need to call Canada. Smaller airlines offer credit for future travel upon cancellation and they may or may not charge a fee. This blog is an indication that I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with Qatar Airways. I, for one, will avoid them for all my future travels. And just for comparison, Emirates refunded the entire price of a ticket that I was once forced to cancel by an unforseeable turn of events. Avoid Qatar Airways!

Yes qatar does not only not want to contact its customers it also use's the same e-mail for its overseas staff in there booking offices they also dont get answers from there own company qatar airways in doha.
They happen to be the worst airline to contact and find it hard to read English written e-mails.
There Terimal in Doha is third world and they give this airline 5 stars what for it was for sure not customer service Qatar cancel my flight but do not help to secure me to the destination in time and they had 3 days notice to do this before my original departure.
Qatar is no good at many things avoid them and use Emirates etc

Whilst I have had problems dealing with the lack of customer services at Doha, I have found the ground staff at Cebu and Heathrow extremely friendly and helpful. I am also consistently impressed by the in flight service and the quality of their flight attendants. While it's not perfect, it's still one of the best airlines I have ever flown with.

I was looking to write a complaint to the tell_us@... and found your blog. It's good to know I am not the only one who hated this airline. Their service staff are not able to cope with the cureent ailine norms of quality at all. Stupid airline and worst than ever ground service. Hear my words: Never fly with them.

My parents aged 65 and 78 yesterday travelled from Houston to Karachi via Doha. They complained that food was not good and airline staff was not responding to their calls. In one incident my mother wanted water from long time she tried calling staff but nobody came as she had front economy seat and she cannot walk long as she is old and had wheelchair assistance. she walked passed business class to the service area and asked for water. The staff replied this is business class service area go back to the end of economy service area to get water. my mother told her that she is dying from thirst and you are not responding, then she gave her water in a glass she had drank 2 glass there (She did not even give her a bottle to take). I am very upset with this type of behavior.
